At MyChainOfEvents.net, we offer a seamless solution for managing and organizing chains of events. Here are some frequently asked questions::
- What's the point of the tool? You can do this for a single event and the tool will help you structure the event and meeting all the due dates.
But this tool will play to its greatest strength when it comes to recurring events, where you just load a setup as a template, exchange the start date and can generate calender entries for your new event in under a 30 seconds. - Why is this free? I needed the functionality and thought this could be helpfull for others.
- Is my data safe? Yes, we do not store any data of your events. The basic functionality is not running run on a server. Everything is running in your browser. If you are familiar with code, you can inspect everything in the source. If you are unsure, please ask someone you trust.
- What about the tracking? We are tracking the page with Matomo, which is a free and GDPR compliant Analytics alternative. Maybe we event publish some statistics in the future.
- What is it I am downloading to my calendar? We provide an ICS file (Wikipedia - ICS). Technically there could be links to dark places, but we only put the information you entered before into the file and do not add anything. You can inspect the files safely with a text editor before importing, if you want to make sure.
